In the last week I participate in XV PLOUG Seminary, that this time subject was: "Oracle Application Server 10g R3: applications, productivity, security, reliability".
In the first part of meeting Mariusz Masewicz presented OAS cluster architectures, Marek Wojciechowski remainded main EJB 3.0 features and OAS support for this technology, Maciej Zakrzewicz occured review of OAS Web Cache adoptions.
In the second part Maciej Zakrzewicz led tutorial: "Central authentication and authorization using Oracle Application Server Identity Management". We can learn about OAS components like: Metadata Repository, Oracle Internet Directory, Single Sign-On Server, Delegated Administration Service, Oracle Directory Manager. Speaker also presented step-by-step solution to accomplish authenticate users in Java EE applications.
Like all PLOUG meetings prepared by teachers form Institute of Computing Science Poznan Uniwersyty Of Technology, also this seminary was on the high level of knowledge.
